SHREWSBURY, Massachusetts – In what has become one of the great annual traditions here in Shrewsbury, the Shrewsbury Garden Party will be held once again this year at the Fallon Homestead, in town center on June 11th, 2011.  Ticket sales have been just fantastic so far, and this event is sure to sell out over the next week.  There are just about two dozen left, so if you haven’t already bought yours, the day is today!  You can get them online this year atwww.shrewsburygardenparty.com

Once the last few tickets are sold out, we’ll probably put together a waiting list, in the event some can’t make the event, but the best way to make sure you have a spot is to order your tickets today.  It’s going to be a great time, and for a fantastic cause!

Each year, hundreds gather for this very special event which raises tens of thousands of dollars which are used by the administrators at the various Shrewsbury schools to purchase items not encompassed within the existing budget. Most often, principals have been investing in technology such as interactive white boards, which help to prepare our students for the highly competitive world out there.

This star studded event is one of my favorite nights of the year, and this one looks to be the biggest and best ever. With our guest emcee Peter Blute reprising his amazing performance of last year, a fantastic band, dozens of amazing auction items, and wonderful food from Struck Catering, it’s sure to be a party talked about all year.  It looks  like attendance will be capped around 300 guests this year, so it’s going to be important to get your tickets reserved early on.
